George Stratman: Ranch Manager
George has been working in Outdoor Education since 1986, and has held leadership positions in four different programs throughout the state.  He possesses a multiple subject teaching credential, master’s degree in education administration, and administrative services credential. A firm believer in doing what’s right for kids, George is dedicated to doing all he can to ensure that every student who visits Walker Creek Ranch has a positive and enriching experience.  Likewise he is committed to bringing the “Walker Creek magic” to all of our guests.  An avid hiker, he enjoys exploring the far corners of Walker Creek Ranch’s 1700 acres. Patrick McLaughlin:
Assistant Ranch Manager
Patrick has been working in youth and community development programs for close to 20 years. From serving in the Peace Corps and being a city planner to his years working in environmental and outdoor education programs, his mission has always been to serve communities and provide opportunities for others to grow, connect, and learn. Patrick continues to realize this goal at Walker Creek Ranch. Abbey Gordon: Ranch Naturalist Supervisor
Abbey has worked with students in a variety of settings including outdoor education, wilderness trips, residential camps, high and low ropes courses, and adventure travel.  She has worked in coastal Maine, the San Diego Mountains, southern Utah and even on a small farm in Kauai.  A UC Berkeley graduate, she enjoys exploring outdoors and watching students gain independence and build community at the Outdoor School.  For questions regarding the Outdoor School, Abbey can be reached at: 415-491-6602  or agordon@marinschools.org

Eric Briggs: Food Service & Conference Manager
Eric began working with residential camps in 1997 as summer camp counselor with the YMCA in his home state of Michigan. Along the way, he has worked in various capacities with numerous camps and nature centers. In addition to his ten plus years in camping, Eric spent five years in the hotel industry where he gained valuable experience and knowledge in food service and hospitality. He loves providing excellent customer service and fantastic food for all. Eric loves spending his spare time with his wife and little girl exploring all that the Bay area has to offer.
