The Marin Agricultural Land Trust, known as MALT, formed in 1980 with the vision of Ellen Straus and Phylis Faber. Today, MALT has protected over 54,000 acres of open space.

Cal trout

COM CAL TROUT

California Trout is a nonprofit that protects the habitat where fish, people, and water come together.  Their staff visit Walker Creek often, to teach staff about the salmon and trout in our watershed.

Youth Outside works towards a day when all youth have equitable access to open space. They also provide trainings for organizations who work with youth, as one of their many resources.

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS

Courageous Conversations is determined to achieve racial equity in education. Since 1992, they have provided powerful training's for schools across America.

The Beetles Project is based out of the Berkeley Lawrence Hall of Science, and they provide lesson plans, staff training and science-based curriculum for environmental educators.
